UTSA PROCUREMENT TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CENTER

TRAINING

APRIL THRU JUNE 2019

 

UTSA Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) counselors provide training and networking opportunities. Specialized classes, monthly networking meetings, and business matchmaking events are also provided. You are not required to be a current client of UTSA PTAC to participate or register for training. Registration is strongly recommended as seating is limited.  Classes are typically a few hours long – an easy time investment for any entrepreneur.

UTSA TRAINING PARKING OPTIONS:

  • Free Parking: Located on Lot D-3 underneath the overpass on the corner of Pecos-La Trinidad St. and W. Cesar E. Chavez Blvd.
  • UTSA Garage Parking: Cost is approximately $2 per hour and is located on Pecos-La Trinidad St, between Buena Vista St and Cesar Chavez Blvd. Visitor parking is on the roof level of the Garage.

This workshop is designed to provide small business owners and managers with information and hands-on templates for developing competency based job descriptions and performance management processes.  Attendees review key elements of well-defined job descriptions and various compliance requirements as well as learn how to effectively employ performance appraisals and progressive discipline procedures.
