Rose Marie Reyez

Rose Marie Reyez has been with the Center of Government Contracting for over 2 years and has over 20 years’ experience working at UTSA.  Rose Marie is currently working as an Administrative Assistant II. Rose Marie handles all administrative functions and other projects. Rose Marie strives to meet departmental goals and enjoys working with her coworker.  

Nathan Aguilar

Nathan Aguilar is serving as a Graphic Designer II for the UTSA SBDC COVID Business
Recovery Accelerator. He brings over 8 years of experience in which he developed the skills
needed to produce creative materials ranging from print design to video editing. Nathan is a
team player and his work is guided by a strong belief in design as a problem-solving tool. He
received a Bachelor’s degree in Visualization from Texas A&M University.

Eileen Teves

Marketing Coordinator

Eileen Teves is Marketing Coordinator for the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) COVID Business Recovery Accelerator.  In her role, she will highlight client stories, and communicate important events and training opportunities for small business owners.  Eileen comes to us with more than 20 years of experience in broadcast journalism, marketing and communications.

For 12 years, Eileen served as feature reporter and co-host for KENS 5 Great Day SA.  During that time, she won a Lone Star Emmy in Outstanding Magazine Program – Feature/Segment and received multiple nominations for writing and storytelling.  Before Great Day SA, she worked as a general assignment reporter for News 9 San Antonio, WJAC-TV (Altoona, PA) and KWES-TV (Midland, TX)

Eileen received a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from the University of the Incarnate Word.  Dr. Teves was the first DBA graduate from the inaugural cohort at UIW H-E-B School of Business and Administration.  Her dissertation Breaking Television News: Is Social Media Coverage You Can Count On? studied social media’s impact on the workload of television journalists.

Victor Malloy

Project Manager

Victor “Vic” Malloy, Currently serving as Project Manager, Texas Cybersecurity Compliance Program, SBDC Center for Government Contracting |The University of Texas at San Antonio | Institute for Economic Development. Previously, He served with the CyberTexas Foundation as the General Manager. Vic has over 20 years of specialized experience as senior and executive leader in Information Technology programs with Air Force, Department of Defense Major Commands, commercial financial services and defense contractor industry. He had multiple assignments over 13 years working in cyberspace security and operations at multiple network operations and security centers. His last position in the U.S. Air Force was to oversee Daily Cyber operations Tasked mission within the AF Cyberspace Operations Center. Previously, he served as Chief Information Officer for National Security Agency/Central Security Service in Texas. Provided expert technical advice and guidance with senior leadership on appropriate application of technology to meet current and future mission requirements to defend against Cyber threats. Vic earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and a Master’s degree in from Webster’s University. Vic is happily married and the father of four children. With his family, they are actively involved in biblical study and worship. He is a Native New Yorker and a PROUD TEXAN by Choice! His passion is the development of the next generation workforce and increasing cyber education in the global community. He was recently selected to serve on the Industry Advisory Committee for tuition-free charter school in San Antonio, Texas and other Cybersecurity Education Programs.

Maria Kelley

Software Systems Specialist

Maria develops and maintains the websites for the Institute of Economic Development, South West Border Small Business Development Center’s, and the online trade platform SBDC Global. She joined the International Trade Center in 2016 and currently works for the SBDC regional Office. Maria holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems from the University of Texas at San Antonio and has been working for the University for over 20 years.

Anabel Guerra

Client Management Specialist

Anabel Guerra is the Client Management Specialist and Training Program Coordinator at the UTSA SBDC International Trade Center. As the Client Management Specialist, she manages the center’s advising performance and productivity as part of a set of strategies implemented by the center to fulfill the organization’s vision. She also manages the center’s training programs in the development, planning, and coordination of international trade events. Prior to joining the UTSA SBDC International Trade Center in February of 2011, she worked at the UTSA Mexico Center as a graduate research assistant where she conducted various research projects on U.S. and Mexico related issues as well as assisted in the coordination and implementation of events. She holds a M.S. of Science in Sociology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is bilingual and bicultural having worked and lived in both Mexico and the United States. She is from Matamoros, Mexico.

Susannah Munro

Sr. Business Development Specialist

Susannah Munro comes to the Center for Government Contracting with over 20 years of experience working for the federal government, government contractors and for the San Antonio Independent School District. Ms. Munro serves as a Senior Business Development Specialist providing assistance to business owners wanting to expand their business into federal, state, and local arenas with government agencies and military installations. Ms. Munro has experience in logistics management including Logistics and Supply Chain/Item Management, Business Management, Cost/Project Analyst Management and Information Technology (IT) support. She has her Certified Procurement Professional Certification (CPP), Federal Contractor Certification (FCC) and is a Certified Business Advisor (CBA) as well as a Veterans Affairs (VA) Certified Counselor. Ms. Munro has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) with majors in accounting and marketing from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio.

Jaime Martinez

Senior Project Manager

Jaime Martinez is the Senior Project Manager in the SBDC’s COVID Business Recovery Accelerator. He joined the UTSA San Antonio Small Business Development Center in 2007. In 2011 Jaime started the SBDC’s Texas International Business Accelerator assisting foreign companies expand their operations to the State of Texas.

Jaime’s role as a Senior Project Manager is to assist COVID affected small to medium sized businesses find relief, recovery and resiliency. His program provides specialized business advice in disaster funding, employer resources, cyber security, and workplace safety.

Before he joined the UTSA’s Small Business Development Center, Jaime worked in international banking for over nine years. He holds a BBA in International Business from UTSA and an MBA in Management from Our Lady of The Lake University.
